Yesterday evening, I was going somewhere for work. At that time, some children overtake me at high speed in a car and went ahead. I did not pay much attention to them because I was getting late for work. When I was about to reach near my office, I saw some people standing in front of a car, so I also stopped there. कल शाम मैं काम से कहीं जा रहा था। उसी समय कुछ बच्चे तेज़ रफ़्तार में एक कार से मुझे ओवरटेक करके आगे निकल गए। मैंने उन पर ज़्यादा ध्यान नहीं दिया क्योंकि मुझे काम पर जाना था। जैसे ही मैं अपने ऑफिस के पास पहुँचने वाला था, मैंने देखा कि कुछ लोग एक कार के आगे खड़े थे। मैं भी वहाँ रुक गया। मैंने देखा कि वही बच्चे थे और उनके कार के आगे कुछ लोग खड़े थे।
मैंने एक आदमी से पूछा, “भाई, क्या हुआ है? तुम लोग इस गाड़ी के आगे क्यों खड़े हो?”
उस आदमी ने बताया, “इन बच्चों ने अपनी गाड़ी से मेरी बकरी को टक्कर मार दी है।”
वहीं खड़े एक और आदमी ने कहा, “कुछ दिन पहले भी कुछ बच्चों ने एक घर में गाड़ी मार दी थी।”
इसके बाद लोग बच्चों को डराने और धमकाने लगे। तब मैंने शांति से एक बच्चे से बात की और पूछा कि वह कौन है। उसने अपना नाम अर्जुन गुप्ता बताया और कहा कि वह बाज़ार जा रहा था, तभी यह दुर्घटना हो गई। फिर मैंने उस बच्चे से उसके पिता को फ़ोन करने के लिए कहा। बच्चे ने अपने पिता को बुलाया। उसके पिता आए, बकरी के पैसे दिए और बच्चे को अपने साथ ले गए।
कुछ दिन पहले भी किसी बच्चे ने घर में गाड़ी मार दी थी। अच्छा हुआ कि उस समय वहाँ कोई इंसान मौजूद नहीं था, नहीं तो बच्चे को बहुत बड़ी परेशानी हो सकती थी।
इसके बाद मैंने इंटरनेट पर खोज की, तो मुझे कुछ जानकारी मिली। यह देखकर मुझे बहुत दुख भी हुआ और माता-पिता पर गुस्सा भी आया, क्योंकि हर साल लगभग 20% बच्चे कार दुर्घटनाओं का कारण बनते हैं। माता-पिता को यह समझना चाहिए कि बच्चों को गाड़ी देने से क्या हो सकता है।
